1866-78, Postal History: A remarkable assembly comprising 150 items and few cover fronts from the three « Dom Pedro » Issues, including better rates, destinations (Argentina, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Newfoundland, Portugal, Spain, United States and Uruguay) an interesting array of cancellations with some very rare examples, rare « Black Beard » & « White Beard » combination franking’s, high multiple-rate franking’s, registered mail, desirable ABN marginal imprints, two rare newspapers franked by « White Beard » 20r as single franking, maritime mail infrequently carried internally by British packets, etc. Mixed condition with several items affected by the imperfections usually encountered as a result of the weather tropical conditions of Brazil.
