Lot 10318 – 1878, 1,000r grey slate, strip of five used, with marginal imprint

1878, 1,000r grey slate, strip of five, very fresh and with very good centring, with lower ABN margin imprint complete, cancelled by “Rio-de-Janeiro/4 Sept 86/(S.R.)” oval hs; perforation fully reinforced between the second and third stamps and portion of upper left corner missing; the largest strip recorded, this being unique with marginal imprint (as listed by Comelli).
