Description
1866, 20r brown carmine, 10r green Type V, die III, and 200r black, all tied or cancelled by dotted lozenges on dispatch on envelope (slightly reduced at top) to Paris, paying the new single rate to France after the Brazilian currency devaluated, showing Maranhão French type cds on departure and blue French entry cds at Calais on front, backstamped at Pernambuco; very fine.
