Lot 10144 – 1843, 90r black, early impression, an extremely rare semi-xiphopagus in pair
1843, 90r black, early impression, marginal pair with three wide margins to enormous at top, where an interpanneau dividing line is exhibited, this being slightly touched in two places, cancelled by boxed “CIDADE/DE/NICTHEROY” hs in black (Ayres 1371). Two corner creases at top left, the right stamp being sound, and very slight tone spots mainly at left mentioned for accuracy and usually encountered. An extremely rare semi-xiphopagus in multiple.
