Lot 10116 – 1843, 90r black, early impression, vertical pair, red “CORREIO GERAL DE CUIABA/18-” rimless cds

1843, 90r black, early impression, a delightful vertical pair originating from the base of the sheet, enormous margin at bottom, being even and wide on other sides, showing quite complete red strike of “CORREIO GERAL DE CUIABA/18-” rimless cds (Ayres 1139). Three 90r examples are recorded exhibiting this postmark, and consequently being unique in multiple; a visually impressive pair, very scarcely found with sheet margin. Cert. RPSL (1970).
