1876, 5 sen light green “girdle”, vertical pair on double weight cover to Salem (United States), tied by intaglio ‘crossroads’ cancels (Nishino type YH76B), additionally tied by red “Yokohama Apr 26 Paid all” cds, struck in transit with “San Francisco May 20” in purple. A very fine and scarce usage of a 5 sen pair in 1876 to the United States.
