Description

1874, 6 sen violet brown, syllabic (8 chi), position 17, a very clean example of outstanding freshness, quite well centred, unused without gum. Cert. Philatelic Museum Expert Committee (2016).

Just twelve unused examples are recorded in the Yamazaki Yoshiyuki (2018 Narumi) plating handbook. (JSCA ¥4,000,000; Michel 17y €45,000).
