1937-46 Young King Farouk Portrait Issue: 50m Greenish-blue, used in combination 13m and 15m values, all neatly tied by ALEXANDRIA/23.4 cds on reverse of insured cover to Germany, with manuscript on front “Valeur déclarée ….” and “V21 / Alexandrie” pink label alongside, an unusual and scarce usage, paying the 78m franking.
