Apam 1r ultramarine and 2r yellow, mainly good margins, used on September 12, 1864 entire letter from Apam to Mexico, lightly cancelled with negative handstamp (Schatzkès #24). Light crease passing through top of the stamps. Only 700 issued of the 2r during the scarce first “Eagle” period of two months. NF $225 as singles off-cover.
