Lot 20021 – 1856 Chihuahua, Durango 4 Reales Bisects Group on piece

Chihuahua and Durango 4r red, two bisects with good margins, each cut vertically, tied by Allende and Gavilanes postmarks (Schatzkès #145 and #254). A very scarce duo from two districts which used bisects sporadically, probably with just a handful extant. Certs. Mepsi (1993, 1995).
