Yokohama. 1870, 2c brown, tied by segmented cork cancel on “Yokohama Prices Current and Market Report” printed circular dated September 21, 1870, carried by the PMSS “Great Republic” (Yokohama 9.23 – San Francisco 10-16). Address band missing. Very Fine.

An extremely rare use of the 2c 1869 Pictorial on printed matter from Japan.
