Nagasaki. 1873, 3c green, a fresh example cancelled by five-bar grid cancel, used on clean entire letter in French endorsed “pr. Oregonian” addressed to J. Raud & Co., Yokohama, showing light strike of “Nagasaki, Japan, 14 Apr.” cds at left, “Pignatel & Cie. Nagasaki (Japon)” double-oval cachet from teh sender at lower left. Minor perforation imperfections, otherwise very fine.
A rare interconsular usage from Nagasaki to Yokohama.
