Lot 90130 – 1875, 20 sen violet syllabic 4 (ni) and 1 sen blue, syllabic 5 (ho), on cover to Great Britain
1875, 20 sen violet syllabic 4 (ni), some toning at right, and 1 sen blue, syllabic 5 (ho), each tied by negative foreign mail cross cancel (Nishino-type YH75B, used only in March 1875) on cover to Nottingham, England, with alongside matching “Yokohama Jan 30 6 A. M.” cds on dispatch, circular “Paid/All” in red, “San Francisco Feb 16 Cal.” transit in purple, where also the “2 / Cents” due mark was applied, and arrival on reverse. (JSCA ¥,.500,000 for overseas letter usage).
