1871, 100 mon indigo, plate 1, large margins on three sides, being clear at base, applied on reverse of slightly reduced cover to Otsu, tied by large “Minakuchi kensazumi” postmark, with both towns being located in the Omi province, correctly paying the 100 mon basic weight letter rate for the Minakuchi-Otsu distance. (JSCA ¥250,000).
