Lot 90006 – 1871, 48 mon light reddish brown plate 1, block of four on cover
1871, 48 mon light reddish brown, plate 1, block of four, positions 30-41 / 38-39, slightly cut into in two places, otherwise wide margins, tied by neat strike of large “Kuwana Kensazumi” postmark to large piece of cover front, alongside showing red framed early non-standard “Kuwana Station / Postal Agency” handstamp. An attractive block of four displaying a bright colour and a very fine strike. Cert. H. Hunziker (1964) and Florian Eichhorn BPP (2009).
