1856 (Mar 24) envelope to Ireland with blue Alexandria despatch cds and “PAID / AT / ALEXANDRIA” crown circle ds, rated “1/-“, London transit, reverse with green Cork arrival double arc ds, some toning and trivial imperfections, scarce with only 24 recorded by us, with this example the only crown circle ds from Egypt sent to Ireland; ex Beaver Creek and Pearmund.
