1880 (Oct 2, 3) pair of covers from the same correspondence to France with complete contents sent from Kandahar shortly after the end of the Second Anglo-Afghan War, both franked with India stamps with one at single 4 1/2a rate and other at double 9a rate, cancelled by barred diamonds, both in poor condition but scarce.
