Description

80 Parale red on white paper, clear to good margins, some imperfection due to thin paper, neatly tied by FRANCO/PIATRA fancy cancel, with PIATRA/MOLDOVA/7.7 double-circle ds and RECEIPISSE straight line, all in blue, on 1858 folded registered cover to Jassy, with blue arrival bs, some of the usual light natural paper wrinkles on the pair. A very rare usage in particular from Piatra. Sold in 2006 for CHF4,600. Cert. Alberto Diena (1970), Heimbüchler (2005).
