1859 (Mar 1) wrapper from Christiansted, St. Croix, to Denmark, with Danish despatch, “FRANCO” hs and Danish St. Thomas cds, passed to the British P.O. with “PAID / AT / ST. THOMAS” crown circle hs (S.G. CC2, £1’800) and British P.O. cds on reverse, sent via London and Hamburg with Copenhagen arrival, various ms rates, an attractive cover with good strikes of the various hs and ds (Facit SEK10’000).
