1864 envelope to France with 1861 rough perf.14-16 1/2 1s indigo and 4d brownish lilac (variously trimmed perfs on both) tied by “1” barred ovals, faint “PAID / AT / TRINIDAD” crown circle hs, paying double rate with ms “1/2”, London transit and Paris arrival bs, missing sideflap and refolded at left to improve appearance, a scarce usage of the 1s indigo (S.G. £325 as used single); ex Ramikssoon.
