1828 (April 12th) Folded affidavit sent from the President of Oxford University to the Linen Office Dublin and redirected to Armagh, showing the distinctive oval fancy LINEN BOARD / POST / * PAID * in red, rated “1/3” and rerated paid “8” to Armagh, extremely rare and the finest of the recorded examples.
One of only three recorded Linen Board mkgs.
