1811 (May 20th) Folded letter sent from Dungannon to Omagh, rated “5” for 15 to 30 miles, showing a diminutive red provincial datestamp MAY 20 / 1811 used on conjunction with DUNGANNON/73 mileage mkg, very fine for this extremely rare Provincial datestamp, apparently only two are recorded.The earliest datestamp for the whole of the British Isles and important showpiece.
