1857 (Sept 3) Letter Secunderabad to Lauder, Berwickshire, UK, with 2a green (S.G. 31) and 4a grey-black on blue glazed paper (S.G. 35), written directive “England via Marseille & Bombay”, crescent “INDIA PAID” on front. A very scarce mixed franking of lithograph and De La Rue typograph perforated issues for overseas ship letter to UK.Very fine. Auction
