1896 (Apr 4) Greek Olympic Committee printed envelope with French legend, with the Committee cachet in violet and Athens “1” despatch cds, sent locally, very fine and rare, ex Tsironis (DF Nov 1997). Note: During the Games, the local Organising Committee postal correspondence was free of charge.
