1872 (May 14) Cover to Braila franked with 10b blue, Carol I with beard, perforated issue, tied by small single circle Calafat cds the rare “degetar” D type , with large double circle of Calafat alongside, “P.D.” boxed mark in blue also to front, endorsed “Cu Vaporu” (by Steamboat) and delivered by exception on a Danube steamer, arrival cds to reverse dated 16 May; a rare cover carried by DDSG with the “Cu Vaporu” endorsement; signed Heimbüchler.
