“Our Day” Red Cross fund raising label, unused and revenue use. A special printing of the 1 anna red Sacred Cow stamp took place in late 1917 in connection with the “Our Day” WWI Red Cross Society Fund. This stamp was issued to commemorate the special day, December 12th 1917, which was set aside by the Indian Government to raise funds for the Red Cross Society for their good work during WWI.
