1813 (Jun 16) Entire from a merchant in Surinam selling fish produce, sent to Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a fine strike of the “SURINAM” 9 JY 1816 ds on reverse from the British Occupation, very fine and very rare, earlier than the earliest recorded date of July 23rd 1813 by Riddell.
