Description

1841 (Feb 12) Valentine entire from Belfast to Ballyclare, bearing 1840 1d black pl.8 AG, with good margins on three sides (just touched at left and corner crease) cancelled by a good strike of the red Maltese cross, reverse with Belfast and “BELFAST / LATE” cds, some fold splitting, the internal poem suggests the author was influenced by Tennyson’s works, rare.
