1860 Outer wrapper sent from Genova to Maracaibo, endorsed ” per Antoine”, with “Costa Hermanos & Co – St Thomas” cachet in blue to front, and an exceptional strike of the rare “Express – St Thomas Office” oval in red to the reverse, filing creases and hinged to front; one of less than ten examples recorded.
