1846 (Sept) Entire letter from Caracas to Bordeaux (France), with vermilion Páez “Correo de Venezuela/Guaira Franca” double circle, reverse with attractive A. Moreau y Cía. three-line forwarding agent hs of La Guaira in green, transits of New York (Oct. 6) and arrival, front with, boxed vermilion “Colonies/&c. Art. 12” and French entry cds, “1/-” packet rate crossed out and transformed into 20 centimes to collect on delivery, interesting and rare.
