1878, 300r ochre, pair showing “American Bank Note…” imprint at bottom right, tied by superb strike of official “Directoria Geral Dos Correios” oval hs with coat of arms (Ayres 1638), a very rare cancellation on a high “Dom Pedro” denomination; ex Dr. de Amaral Machado.
