1878, 80r carmine, block of four, incredibly vivid and strong colour being very rarely found, cancelled by segmented cork cancels; probably the finest of just six recorded, and together with the 260r value, the most valuable and scarcest “Barba Branca” used blocks of four, as well as one of the three most significant in all “Dom Pedro” issues; ex Dr. de Amaral Machado.
