1876, 20r brown lilac, five singles applied on front and back of single weight entire letter from Campos to Rio de Janeiro, tied by dotted lozenges with matching “Campos/23 Oct. 77” cds; some faults at bottom also including a vertical crease passing through one stamp and some soiling, though still very desirable as the largest franking of the roulette 20r; ex Dr. de Amaral Machado.
