Description
1866, 20r violet slate, together with 200r black to pay the single weight as per the Paris Convention of 1860 on 7.7.1874 cover from Pernambuco to Buenos Aires, tied by star cork cancels, Pernambuco French type cds and blue framed “P.P.” on front, transit of Rio on back, carried by the French packet “Rio Grande”, very fine and rare with this 20r shade.
