Lot 40035 – 1866, 20r brown carmine, the irregular block of 15 mint

1866, 20r brown carmine, the irregular block of 15, strong colour, of outstanding freshness possessing full original gum with few light hinge remnants, very well centred for the most part; according to Comelli, the largest multiple recorded of the RHM 24a -the 20r brown-carmine is scarcer than the 20r brown-lilac in unused condition-, this exhibition item being further enhanced by the fresh and rare original gum, an extraordinary “Dom Pedro” multiple.
