UNIQUE FRANKING TO A RARE DESTINATION1d red, VERTICAL STRIP OF FOUR, positions 2/5/8/11 and VERTICAL STRIP OF THREE positions 4/7/10, just touched to large even margins, all tied or cancelled by clear neat oval bars, on 1859 large part folded letter sheet sent from Port Louis via ‘Par Benares’ to Melbourne, Australia, cover flaps missing, slight reduced at left, some cover faults, creases, stamps and cover pressed and cleaned, a very important showpiece
