1856-60 2d Deep Dull Blue showing SECOND MAJOR RETOUCH (R9/8) (extensive retouching of the head and below the neck) as well as showing strong plate wear in horizontal pair tied to piece by “66” numeral with Singleton despatch cds adjacent, small scissor cut at lower right of variety,right stamp just touched at top, a scarce variety for the specialist (SG £450+)
