1856-60 2d Deep Dull Blue showing SECOND MAJOR RETOUCH (R9/8) (extensive retouching of the head and below the neck) as well as showing strong plate wear in horizontal pair tied to piece by « 66 » numeral with Singleton despatch cds adjacent, small scissor cut at lower right of variety,right stamp just touched at top, a scarce variety for the specialist (SG £450+)
