1915 (Aug 27) “Hamburgische Sudsee-Aktiengesellschaft, Hauptfiliale Rabaul” commercial envelope sent registered to Brisbane, bearing 1d red and 2 1/2d Roo indigo pair, all type “a”, tied by Rabaul c.d.s., showing manuscript registration marking, “PASSED BY CENSOR” hs in violet and censor seal at left applied on arrival; the envelope with minor repaired opening tears on reverse, attractive and scarce franking
