Coolgardie Cycle Express: 1896 (Sep 29) Envelope to Sydney with Bicycle 1s unusually tied by NORSEMAN cds & light strike of the “Per COOLGARDIE CYCLE EXPRESS CO. / HUNT STREET” hs, presumably postage stamps removed to reveal part of the hs, reverse with Eseperance duplex b/s & superb Sydney arrival bs, a couple of very minor blemishes but one of the finest Cycle Express covers, very rare and one of only seven 1s covers recorded, this example significantly the only one recorded outwards Cycle Express cover ,ex John Gartner and Besançon
