1852 (Apr 2) Entire from Liverpool to New Orleans, bearing an 1841 2d violet blue pl.4 AA-AF horizontal strip of six (AF just touched at foot), lettered on thicker lavender tinted paper, each cancelled by a good strike of the Liverpool “466” numeral cancel, the front showing “PAID”, “5 / CENTS” and Boston British Packet cds, Liverpool bs, adhesives lifted and pressed, still a stunning multiple on cover of this rare stamp, cert. BPA (2009)
