1840 1d Black pl.3 MI (horiz. guide line in upper squares), three margins, tied to by a beautiful red Maltese cross to 1840 (Sep 27) entire from Beverley to Sheffield, with crude ink illustration of a train carriage with annotation “Showing carriage on fixed wheels”, made after posting but still a most unusual and rare illustrated cover especially on a Penny Black cover, cert. RPS (2003)
