1859 Dardenne 1d. vermilion, two horiz. pairs tied by barred oval cancel to 1860 wrapper from Port Louis to France, one pair just cut into and one pair affected by filing fold, endorsed “via Suez & Marseille”, French “16” decime hs, French “Suez” transit, reverse with Mauritius GPO 1860.03.08 ds as well as Toulouse and Bordeaux backstamps, some minor staining , a very rare usage
