1859 Dardenne 1d. vermilion with good to huge margins, tied by barred oval cancel to 1860 wrapper from Port Louis to France, endorsed “via Suez & Marseille” and “p Salsette”, French “15c” due on arrival, French “Suez” transit, reverse with Mauritius GPO 1860.03.08 ds as well as Toulouse and Bordeaux backstamps, addressee neatly excised, some minor foxing and staining removed, a rare usage
