1859 Dardenne 1d. vermilion with good to huge margins, tied by barred oval cancel to 1860 wrapper from Port Louis to France, endorsed « via Suez & Marseille » and « p Salsette », French « 15c » due on arrival, French « Suez » transit, reverse with Mauritius GPO 1860.03.08 ds as well as Toulouse and Bordeaux backstamps, addressee neatly excised, some minor foxing and staining removed, a rare usage
