1859 Post Paid 1d. red on bluish, horizontal pair, positions 4-5, in combination with 1859-61 Britannia 6d. blue, both very slightly cut into at left, with three large margins on other sides, on 12.11.1859 folded cover from Port Louis to Melbourne, tied by oval bar cancels with dispatch ‘G.P.O./MAURITIUS’ and arrival cds’s on back, charged with 4d in red crayon on obverse for Colonial credit, filing fold and tiny scissor cut on the 6d on no significance for this, the only example recorded of this franking
