1859 Post Paid 1d. red on bluish, position 6, clear to three large margins, neat cancelled by ‘PAID’ within circle on 8.8.1859 ‘Bulletin Commercial’ newspaper from Port Louis to France, entering the destination country with red Suez cds at left, addressee’s wrapper missing as it had to be removed to open the newspaper, one of only three complete newspapers recorded with the exceedingly rare 1d overseas rate, in delightful quality
