1866 (15.12) Cover front from Zifta to Liverpool, England, with 1866 1pi lilac tied by POSTE VICE-REALI EGIZIANE / ZIFTA & MITG circular datestamp, sent via the British Post Office at Alexandria with Great Britain 6d plate 5 and 3d plate 4, tied by “B01”, also ALEXANDRIA / DEC 17 66 circular datestamp below, The rate in effect from 1 January 63 to 1 January 70 was 1 shilling per half ounce, this cover was franked with only 9d, hence the handstamp INSUFFICIENTLY / PREPAID, somewhat tatty, still a very scarce combination usage
