1946 80th Anniversary of the First Issue of Egypt and the First Philatelic Exhibition, group of 5 essays for the mini sheet including a) hand drawn essay of the layout of the mini sheet on tracing paper, signed by the artist Fresco; b) photographic print of the previous essay with ms annotations and signed by the artist Fresco (Dated 11 SEP 1945); c) same photographic print also with proposed designs for the 17m and 30m stamps with ms annotation “Essays for a set of stamps commemorating 80th Anniv. of 1st Stamp.” dated October 1945; d) pen and ink essays of the four stamps with values 6, 10m, 17m and 22m on tracing paper signed and handstamped by the artist; e) photographic print of the previous essay with ms annotations, entitled “Premier Etude”; plus a gold medal awarded to Henry J. Fresco from the Société Philatelique d’Egypte” for the design of the mini sheet and a cover sent to him; a unique exhibition group
