1910 2d “Tyrian Plum” colour trial in grey-brown on gummed Crown watermarked paper, an exceptional
colour trial of this famous stamp that was withdrawn before issue due to
the death of King Edward VII, very rare as no more than two or three
examples of each colour is recorded in private hands, ex “Minoru” (SG from £20’000) Catalogue ref: SG 266a
